Diversity @Work Initiative
Providing individualized employment services to deaf and disabled job seekers with diverse backgrounds and abilities, and assisting a variety of disabilities including (but not limited to): autism spectrum, chronic illness, learning disabilities, memory loss, mental health, intellectual and physical disabilities. In addition, staff are fluent in American Sign Language and trained in Deaf Culture. Powered by Premiere Career Services, is a partner of Ohlone College’s Career Center.
How to access Diversity @Work services:
- Ohlone College students and community members must have an open case with the state’s Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) office and be formally referred to Premiere Career Services (PCS) for resources, or
- Ohlone College students and community members must be able to qualify DOR services by having a documented disability. Our staff can offer guidance to sign up for DOR services.
