Fremont, CA-Dancers…What moves them? What inspires them? Who are they? Dance about…Dance for…Dance because…Experience the performance from inside of the dancer looking out.

"Dance…" the Spring Dance Production, peeks into the mind of a dancer and presents a show that celebrates the art of movement. This latest production by the Theater and Dance Department, directed by Janel Tomblin-Brown, pays tribute to all dancers, their motivations, aspirations and devotion to their craft.

The performance is divided into two acts. The first act focuses on the expression of dance as a way to channel and express feelings. From bullying to overcoming fears- the faculty and student choreographers explore the power of dance and the creativity of choreography to showcase scenarios where dance is used as an outlet for expression of internal triumphs, struggles and joy. The second act is comprised of two suites. One of fantasy and the other of reality. The first suite opens in the magical realm of imagination and fantasy while the second suite shines light on the dancer as an individual, highlighting the variety of individual dance styles and interpretation.
