Mission Peak Brass Band
Friday, October 18, 2019 • 8:00 pm • Smith Center, Ohlone College, Fremont
The Band presents a wide range of music: from the World War II era with RAF Fighter Command, theme from the movie "The Battle of Britain," and Harry James' Trumpet Blues and Cantabile, to modern opera-esque music from Italy, Time to Say Goodbye by Francesco Sartori and Lucio Quarantotto. We'll dance from North America, with the Suite of Dances from "West Side Story" by Leonard Bernstein, to South America with the modern Tango de Buenos Aires, by Keiron Anderson. And to be true to our brass band roots, we bring Peter Graham's international musical portrait Windows of the World.
Tickets $15/$10 at the door or www.SmithCenter.com. Parking is $4
