Group of 3 students.The American Sign Language (ASL) and Deaf Studies curriculum is designed to prepare students for paraprofessional positions in areas of deaf education (instructional aides, cottage/dormitory counselors, etc.), research, human services, or community services. The ASL & Deaf Studies program will also help students with other majors and with their personal and/or professional contacts with Deaf people.
