Wednesday, April 7, 2021 - 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Guest Speaker: Andres Chavez

Join us as we celebrate the life and legacy of Cesar E. Chavez, through a conversation with his grandson, Andres. So much of the work and service that Cesar Chavez accomplished was around community and bringing people together. As we navigate our current environment and address the challenges within our college and community, what lessons can we take from his life's work? How can we come together and be in solidarity with one another as we aim to become an equity-based, anti-racist educational institution? Andres Chavez will share the history and impact of Cesar Chavez and his work, and the ways in which his philosophy and vision for a better world can still make a difference today. The evening will end with a moderated question and answer session. We look forward to being in community with you for this special conversation.

This event will have ASL interpretation. Advanced registration not required, log into Zoom, at the link below, on the day and time of the event.
