The Faculty of the Month program seeks to honor faculty who have a history of making significant and continuing contributions to the College. Go to Faculty of the Month honorees!
The selection is made by the Ohlone Awards Committee, which is a subcommittee of the Faculty Senate. The award is given monthly (of course!) during the academic year.
At the beginning of the Fall and Spring semesters a call for nominations is made to the campus wide community. The Ohlone Awards Committee reviews the nominations and places the names of all nominated faculty that have not received the award in the previous two academic years into a hat. The chair of the committee then draws names for each month.
Each Faculty of the Month Honoree Receives
