FINANCIAL AID SERVICES

Please be sure to check your "MyOhlone"  for all status updates on your awards, SAP Status, Credit balance and resource links. Any additional questions or concerns, please utilize one of our additional services below.

All individuals are required to check in prior to receiving services at the window. Photo Identification (Student ID or government issued ID card) is required if you wish to access services in-person at the window. Come no later than 30 minutes prior to the window closing time to ensure you will be seen.

Check In Using a Phone

To keep your family and our team as safe as possible, you can now check in for services by using the free My Mobile Check In App on your Apple or Android device!

To utilize your phone to check in:

  1. Search for ‘My Mobile Check In’ app in your phone’s app store and download.

  1. Create your profile. The profile includes:

a. First and last name
b. Best phone number for contact
c. Date of birth
d. Click “Save Profile”

*Each student who receives services needs a profile created

  1. When you arrive at Student Services, open the app and click on the “Locations” tab on the bottom left. This step will not work until you are within ¼ mile of the student Services Building location, and your location settings may need to be ‘on’ on your device. Select “Ohlone College – Fremont” or “Ohlone College – Newark” depending upon your Campus Location.
     
  2. Select your profile for checking in.
     
  3. To check in:

a. Answer the question in regards to student information
b. Select the Department you are visiting
c. Select the reason for the visit
d. Click “Check In”

Meet & Greet

  1. To check in:

a. Come to the service Window
b. Present a valid government issued / student ID
c. Provide all necessary check-in information

We encourage all individuals to check in prior to reaching the service windows. However, if you are unable to check in through a mobile device or Kiosk, we can manually check you in for services.

Please be aware that this process  takes longer, but allows us to ensure that all individuals are seen and serviced in a timely manner.

We want to provide you with the best customer service possible. Being able to identify services that  students are utilizing, as well as questions being asked, will allow us to improve our services in the future.
