Central Court in Olive Tree Walk
In the center of the Village is the Olive Tree Walk, which is built upon the existing walkway running east and west to the upper campus. Our design expands the existing walkway and create a Central Court as a focal point to re-activate the connectivity while providing public use and enjoyment for the local community.
Neighborhood Town Center
The Village’s Town Center is a great place for community events and gatherings; it is also home to our collection of shops and services for the local community. Conceptually, we envision a variety of commercial retail uses with a total of 6500 square feet. Our mail center was artistically designed to complement the architecture of the community and includes a wide variety of amenities, including Palm Plaza, Central Courtyard, Water Feature and many more.
The homes reflect on the original 1920’s “Spanish Hacienda” style. Our team’s design concept draws inspiration from the original Mission San Jose, built in May 1797 by Native American people from Mission Santa Clara. Back then, the site sat on slopes overlooking the Fremont plain on the east side of San Francisco Bay.
The introduction of a mixed-use, residential component into the existing campus creates a dynamic environment, which we believe will serve to energize the Mission Boulevard frontage. Conceptually, there is envisioned to be 275 rental apartments in 27 separate two-story buildings, 267 of which are stacked apartments and 8 are two-story townhomes. Residents have access to the swimming facilities, outdoor recreation areas, Olive Tree Walk, onsite pocket parks and trails, as well as the featured shops at the Village’s Town Center.
