Most Ohlone College classes require the purchase of a textbook, and some classes require the purchase of online access codes (also known as keys) or other supplies. Most of these purchases are available at the Ohlone College Bookstore.

Like many Ohlone students, Mr. Abramson's first interest in radio and television began at school. This interest extended from high school and college to a professional career in broadcasting.
Mr. Abramson has worked at stations in Texas, California's central coast and two Bay Area stations including 27 years at KBLX-FM San Francisco as Production Director. Mr. Abramson's academic resume also includes teaching courses in Radio Programming, Digital Audio Production, Television Production and Pro Tools Certification.
