Programs, Scripts, Applications - Web Style Guide

The Web Center includes information on using the College's server-based program to email HTML form data to a designated recipient. Review HTML Forms in the Web Center.

Contact the Web Team if there is a JavaScript library (such as jQuery) you would like to access to for use on the Ohlone College website you maintain.

You may not write your own scripts or programs or applications, or install freeware or shareware, or commercial scripts or programs or applications in your website directory on the development web server or main (live) web server.

All requests for programs or scripts (including CGI, Perl, PHP, etc.) or applications to be installed on a web server must be approved and managed by the Information Technology Services Department. Installation and configuration will be performed by the Information Technology Services Department. It may be necessary for your department to purchase a web server to run the software.
