Welcome to Ohlone's Student Learning Outcomes and Assessment (SLOA) page!
Ohlone is dedicated to ensuring that robust, meaningful, and effective educational programs are provided to all students. To this end, courses and programs are regularly reviewed so that faculty may continually work to improve the learning experiences available to students, helping them achieve their educational goals. Faculty regularly engage in dialogue on assessment, and assessment efforts are tracked and documented on the SLOA website and in annual Year-End SLOA Reports, which can be accessed via the link to the left.
Courses at Ohlone are assessed by faculty, minimally, every four years. Programs are assessed via the Program Review process, which is on a two-year cycle for Career Educational programs and a three-year cycle for all other programs. Course Assessment reports are posted by faculty directly into the online Cloud SLO database page, which can be accessed below. All course assessments are published and can be viewed on the Cloud SLO's Public Viewing page below. For a list of Course Assessment Due Dates by Division, see the link below.
