Club/ASOC Promotional Request

Please allow up to 7 business days for requests to be processed.

Step 1: Is your promotional material related to an Ohlone Club/ASOC?

If you answered NO - please reach out to studentlife@ohlone.edu to ensure that the following process is the one for you.

If you answered YES - awesome! Please review the following steps to ensure a smooth and relatively quick process!

Step 2: Have you met with Student Life regarding your event?

If you answered NO : If you're hosting an event, whether it's online, in person or a social media campaign, all Clubs and ASOC should schedule a meeting with Student Life to go over the details of the event. This is just to ensure there are no scheduling conflicts, that the group has a chance to ask any questions they may have, and to provide the best outcome for your event. To schedule a meeting please submit a Meeting Request (Click here)

If you answered YES OR it's not an event promotion, it's an informational promotion: Awesome! Please move forward to Step 3.

Step 3: Do you have a text version of your flyer?

If you answered NO: All images must be ADA compliant. Thus - when we send out promotional material (canvas, social media, Student Update emails, the website) we must provide what's called a "text version" of the flyer. The text version must contain all the written information that is on the flyer, such as Club Name/ASOC - what the flyer is promoting. If it's an event make sure to include the Date, Time, what the event is about, and location (if it's on Zoom make sure to add a link in the text version).

If you answered YES: Move on to Step 4

Here is an example of an event flyer from a previous semester along with the appropriate text version:
