IMPORTANT: Ohlone College Fall 2020 Late Start Classes are online. Classes listed as meeting on the Fremont or Newark campus will instead meet on Zoom on the days and times shown in WebAdvisor. For Spring Semester 2021, most classes will be fully online or labeled as hybrid. Limited courses will be conducted in-person with strict safety measures in place.

    • Go to the far left side of the webpage, and click on the blue link “Search for Sections.”
    • In "Term" drop down menu select “2021 Spring Semester.”
    • Then in "Section Status" drop down menu select “Open Sections.”
    • If Interested in Late Start Classes. Click the "Late Start" Box.
    • Then go to bottom of page and click on the “SUBMIT” blue button.

Onsite Student Support & Onsite Student Study Centers

Ohlone College offers in-person student support services at both campuses, including Admissions & Records, Financial Aid, Cashier (Fremont Campus Only), General Student Information and Career Center Services.
 
In addition, onsite Student Study Centers are available on both campuses, with over 49 study stations available and WiFi. No appointments necessary. Social distancing, masks, and health screening mandatory.

FREE TUITION for First-Time College Students

The AB19 and AB2: California College Promise & Book Grant Program is available for first-time, full-time students. The program covers the enrollment fees and mandatory fees for up to 60 units for the first two academic years, and $250 (each semester) towards books. For more information contact Ohlone's Financial Aid Office at 510-737-1738 or visit the AB19/AB2 page.

Kindergarten-9th (K-9) Grade Student Enrollment

Students in grades K-9 can attend Ohlone College on a space-available basis, and can only register for the following courses:

  • General Astronomy (ASTR-101A)
  • Introduction to Biology (BIOL-130)
  • Preparation for General Chemistry (CHEM-102)
  • Biochemistry for Health Science & Biotech (CHEM-109)
  • Introduction to Computer Science C++ (CS-102)
  • Reading & Written Composition (ENGL-101A)
  • Calculus with Analytic Geometry (MATH-101A)
  • Calculus with Analytic Geometry (MATH-101B)
  • Calculus with Analytic Geometry (MATH-101C)
  • Survey of Physics (PHYS-108)

Refer to the K-12th Grade Enrollment Steps and carefully follow the directions in the K-9th Grade Application Packet to avoid delays in processing.

  • Admissions Applications packets are available now through  OpenCCCApply.
  • K-9th grade permission packet will be available on Friday, October 30, 2020 after 5pm for the Spring Semester 2021.
  • K-9th grade completed application and permission packet deadline is Monday, January 11, 2021 by 5pm for Spring Semester 2021. No Exceptions. Please allow 10 business days for processing.
  • K-9th grade registration (with a completed application and permission packet) begins Monday, January 25, 2021 for Spring 2021 Semester with an add authorization code obtained through the instructor.

10-12th Grade Student Enrollment

Students in grades 10-12 are allowed to take CSU/UC transferable courses. These courses are identified in WebAdvisor, the printed Class Schedule, and the Ohlone College Catalog. ​​​​Refer to the Kindergarten-12th Grade Enrollment Steps and carefully follow the directions in the 10th-12th Grade Application Packet to avoid delays in processing.

1. APPLY ONLINE
Visit ohlone.edu/admissions. Scroll down to "How to Enroll & Register."

2. APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID
Financial aid options are available to students who qualify.

3. CREATE WEBADVISOR ACCOUNT
WebAdvisor provides access to your student account, including activation of your student email, and other online tools.are available to students who qualify.
 
4. COMPLETE ORIENTATION & SELF-GUIDED PLACEMENT
Orientation & Self-Guided Placement is required for all non-exempt new students. Please note that Orientation is not required for new students enrolling in Late Start Classes.
 
5. SIGN UP FOR A COUNSELING & REGISTRATION (CAR) SESSION
After completing the Orientation module, all participating students are required to complete a CAR session where counselors will help you select classes and register.
 
6. PAY FOR CLASSES
Payment is due upon registration. Select a payment option. Payment plans and financial aid are available to students who qualify.
 
7. PREPARE FOR CLASSES
Purchase or rent books through the Ohlone College Bookstore.
