Students need to know that Ohlone faculty and staff believe in them and want to see them succeed. Transferring and earning their bachelor's degree is one of the ways our students can achieve success.

Q. What is Transfer Day?
Transfer Day is the annual college fair for current Ohlone College students. Over 40 colleges and universities across the U.S. representing various programs attend Transfer Day so you can gather information about academic programs, admission requirements, and student life.

Transfer Day 2017 is on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at the Newark Center!

Q. How can I support Transfer Day?
… wear t-shirts (Yes, We Love T-Shirt Tuesdays!) with a university logo in September, and especially on Transfer Day!
Make an Announcement…
…or invite a Transfer Center staff/volunteer to visit your class and give the pitch! Contact the Transfer Center at email@example.com.
… or 10 minutes to share about your own university and/or transfer experience.
Prepare Your Students…
… to get the most out of Transfer Day.
Help them understand essential questions to ask with regards to programs in your field. A list of Suggested Questions to Ask (PDF) is available to you as a tool; coach them on making a good first impression; point out the students' Transfer Day web page, which they can use to prepare for Transfer Day; encourage them to have fun and attend Transfer Day even if they may not know to where to transfer.
Bring Your Class
… to Transfer Day or offer extra credit for an oral presentation on their findings from the day.
