Priority Registration for Ohlone College Classes - Veterans Affairs Office

The Priority Registration for Spring 2022: Monday, November 22, 2021 (time varies)

Students who are receiving Veteran Education and Training benefits at Ohlone College will be given priority registration automatically. The benefits include Chapter 33, 30, 1606, 1607, 35, 31.

Important: Effective Fall 2014, continuing students who do not meet academic progress for two semesters and/or have earned 100 credits or more will lose their priority registration.

Veteran/reservist/active-duty military that does not use or is not eligible for Federal VA benefits must self-identify to the Ohlone College Veterans Affairs Office at least 2 weeks before the registration starts by providing proof of your military status, such as DD 214-Member 4 (Your discharge status must be in a condition other than dishonorable)/Military Card/military order/Enlistment Contract; and meet the following requirements in order to receive priority registration:

  1. Complete College Orientation
  2. Complete preliminary Student Educational Plan with a Counselor if appointment is not available. This is one semester SEP the counselor prepares to choose courses for upcoming semester. Students should schedule an appointment to receive a comprehensive SEP.
  3. Has not earned 100 units at Ohlone College
  4. Is in good academic standing with Ohlone College or not have been on Academic Probation/Progress for two consecutive terms
